Be Aware of Recruitment Fraud

Metagenics is aware of a sophisticated and fraudulent scheme where fictious job opportunities are being extended through electronic communications. This fraudulent scheme is achieved by use of phishing and/or spoofing e-mails, which are unsolicited and sent to unsuspecting recipients. The originator of the communication may identify unsuspecting recipients through social media platforms for job seekers. Metagenics is aware that individuals or organizations are posing as past or present Metagenics’ representatives, claiming to recruit on behalf of the Company. The fraudulent scheme seeks to gather personal and financial information from the recipient, such as bank account number[s], and other personal identifying information.

Recipients of an unsolicited communication or a communication from an unverified source claiming to be Metagenics, should not access a communication suspected to be malware; should not respond; should not provide personal identifying information, and; should not engage in further communication. Questions regarding the authenticity of a communication claiming to be from Metagenics should be forwarded to [email protected].

Metagenics will never ask an employment candidate to provide personal information unless the employment candidate has first applied for a job position on its career site at Metagenics.com/join-our-movement. Victims of fraudulent activity should consider contacting local law enforcement.
